WELL, YOU DON'T ACCEPT IT OR RECOGNIZE IT WHEN IT IS THERE. YOU ATTACK IT LIKE AN VISCIOUS ANIMAL.

A typical disconnected general rebellious complaint:

I'll find it in a person like Hillary.

A Christian:

a superstitious idiot.

About our Father in Heaven:

It's funny to me that if there is a God, He/She/It probably has more respect for the unbeliever than the believer.

A Christian as a gambler:

At least we open doubters and unbelievers aren't suck-ups and spiritual gamblers.

Attitude towards faith:

The only thing in this discussion that I'm ignorant of, is how anyone can think faith is a virtue.

Feeling sorrow for self:

I should know, I used to, but then again, I was kept quite ignorant for many years.

So, do you see what you have become? Do you see yourself as you would like to be? No, of course not. So, get out your rebellious funk and ask for help.

Your mind is raging like a roaring train against everything that would guide you, help you, because of anger and distrust.

So, get out of your funk and realize that your salvation is between YOU and GOD, NOT AN ORGANIZATION OR A DENOMINATION.

Discover the Body Of Christ, and re-define the Christian vocabulary correctly.

Yes, life has crapped on you and me both, but get out of your dumb funk, try to behave in a civilized manner, and reach out like many others have; and FIND CHRIST AS IS PROPER, using self-study, with prayer, and association with healthy people in some church someplace. I would suggest a Baptist church.

Go read my post on the "PROCEDURE TO GET TO HEAVEN" and get yourself the book: The Bondage Breaker. It is there for many people on this forum, who are just as mess up as you.

The thing about it here is you'll find plenty of people here to support your attitude. So, they are not really loving you, are they. It's just a solidarity of mutual dumbness.

Do good! Do what is right! In great reality, Satan, right now,rules your thoughts because you are letting him, and he is laughing at you, dummy. The roaring lion has you in his gums, the bum. So, get our of your dumb funk.

So stop, hit the road, trade in your tricycle, and do something to find and gain the abundant life that Christ said we would find through him.

Well, if you know greater wisdom expound please. Grace us with your interpretation of superior thought and intellect, rather than your typical drunken filth-oriented bar talk, while you wallow in self-pity, sledging the WT as though you have greater ideals and conscience than that false prophet, and hammering the Body Of Christ who reaches out to you.

Tell us how you think you are above God's grace, how you don't need God, how you worship this grain of sand called 6-9.

When you extract the base human emotion (pride), it all becomes clear.

Yes for the most part, Derek is mentally lazy and insincere. I see this is as lack of parental guidence, and he probably suffers socially for it, at this time in his life.

So, should he follow your ignorance as a way of example, of growth. What have you said to "spiritually" help his attitude, his mindset, or anyone elses for that matter.

However, for you, I've never seen you write anything but rebellion against all that is spiritually decent.

When There's Too Much Talk About Satan???

perhaps it is that when so many of us have been subjected to horrific mind manipulation methods, we become dumbed down to the seriousness of the issues at hand.. ----------------------------.

when a 'church' teaches, no, in fact instills so much about satan and all his crafty ways and methods, including quite terrifying teachings of matters pertaining to demons, what happens to the innocent victims of that kind of abuse?

how do, these innocent victims grow up, what effect does this have on their personal development and natural balance?.

This is one very very good post.

If I try to summarize it, it has two elements (1) the works of religious abuse and (2)the works of Satan, both, very real and very devestating, but not to everyone.

The affects these two components have had upon people have always existed, and they will continue to exist.

So how should we deal these affects within our own domain of life? Firstly, recognize three things:

(1) God does exist.
(2) Satan does exist.
(3) There is a battle for our mind going between us and Satan.

With these in mind, we make choices and fight the good fight, with the backing of the God's Holy Spirit, as we become saved.

CELTIC, I, with all my heart, as I can, do understand your reasoning about the abuse of religion upon trusting naive people and children.
I understand full-well how Satan goes to church and sits beside us; how he lives in our homes through abusive relatives and other ways.
I understand how Satan is presented as powerful and something to be feared. This is only ignorance, and Satan make full use of it. Satan is a defeated foe because of the freedom Christ has given to Christians.
Christians have power over the demons even. See Luke 10:19. People are helped all the time who are bothered and abused by unclean spirits.

So, I would seek to share one thing with you: defining the Body Of Christ, which exists not in churches or organizations, but within people who know the fruits of the spirits within their own hearts, they paramountly having a willingness to love above all things.

They know and can explain the workings of the Holy Spirit within them. They understand about the Suit-Of-Armor that they wear.

They also sit beside us in churches when we can find them, willing to nurture and share.

After I disfellowshipped the WT, I then partook to re-identify my vocabulary and my major expressions of faith, without either through the spectacles of the WT or the church at large. The battle for my mind was on, and I was going to keep my mind, this time. You see Celtic, I didn’t quit, as so many have.. On my team, I had me, the Bible, and God for whom I was searching, with a bit more wisdom than 31 years ago.

VIOLET ANAI, I know exactly what you are talking about. I know exactly the affects of direct encounters with demonic forces. I know their organizational structures. I know their intents, operations, and behaviors. I know that Satan is real and operates, just as I know that I breathe.

Violet, I also know that the JW’s are a cult, among many things, simply because they do not represent true Christianity, although they appear to be, as an angel of light so-to-speak.

To realize this one must know the Bible from a perspective provided by God’s grace and his Holy Spirit. People and Christians who don’t know their Christians position in Christ are the most susceptable to cult inculcating and mind control.

The JW’s have brought you to the WT, not to Christ. They become your mediator instead of Christ.
I have one thing about who and what a Christians becomes in Christ, that if I could email it to you and you read and looked up the scriptures, and realized that these scriptures applied to you personally; you would realize that you have no compatibility with the WT.

The closer you apply who you are to Christ, the more you will realize that the WT is not from God, but rather from man.

It is not the talk of Satan that is wrong, but rather the way it is explained or used.

Satan is a defeated foe. "This" is the position from which a Christian operates.

If he/she is afraid, it is due to lack of knowledge and understanding.

Why is belief without evidence the requirement for salvation

There is evidence Derek. Read 1st John 5:8-11, and don't be so mentally lazy.

As a person seeks and asks, the Godly spiritual quality of these characteristics are developed into the new person by the Holy Spirit after his/her salvation. Read your Bible and stop purposely asking nonsense questions that go nowhere, Derek. Also, don't be so mentally lazy.

Find out things that you ponder indiscriminately for yourself. From this you can make statements of belief and share a discussion, rather than pondering with nonsense round-robin questions.

You're doing it again Derek. Don't ask, tell--after you have read your Bible on a topic.

For example go study the word Christ in a responsible theological reference book, then soul, then spirit, then music, then heaven, they hell, then wine, then then, and more then... Look up the scriptures that are referenced to see if it makes sense to you, along the lines of their text, and then...

Now can you explain a little more about obtaining Salvation. Exactly how does it come about in your understanding of it, besides what you have already written.

Do you have the Holy Spirit? If you do, how do you know that you do?

Early rock and roll

i was in high school, in the fifties, when it all began, yes, i am talking about rock and roll.

here is my experience and my opinion.

Yes, and Wolf Man Jack was in there someplace. I played big band then, at least what was left of it. The fellows I knew hated those names you mentioned. They were like hicksville and red-necked.

The men I played with knew the WWII songs, the romanticism of warfare. I played 2nd tenor, lead tenor. We had about 580 arrangments: all the Glen Miller Stuff, Bennie Goodmen, Lional Hampton, Stan Kenton, Harry James, Les Brown, Matavonne, and so forth. They don't even sell those music arrangements anymore for a complete band, that I know of.

We danced real too, like we threw them gals over our shoulders, between our legs, around our waist. We could turn 3-times around going from standing tall to squat. We could jump with patten-leather black shoes from ground to straight tall. That's when women were feminine and proud to be so; they wore dresses. Tango, samba, waltz, rumba, and so forth were common things.

It was fun to dress to the nines; women in gowns, men in dinner jackets and tux, ballrooms all over town. We were cool cats: white shoes, white thin belts, bright pink shirts, chain loops 12 inches long, chain watches.

In the Carolinas, most of us were innocent through most of it. For a gal to smoke or color her hair meant she was a slut. No one cursed when he talk.

A different era but the same-old same-old. It was Satan's world beating to a different drum beat. The marketing mind was still there calling the shots and steering the public.

In the mist of it were those that were popular because then had money or were attractive. Many of the rest might suffer from loneliness, envy, being bored, and so forth. There were still dumb parents raising dumb children, like today.

Yes I had fun; however, if I had had mental, emotional, and spiritual training; I would never have joined the military or become a Jehovah's Witness.

Each generation has it's own ignorance, without Christ.

The created world is not the real world. The invisible realm was here first.

Heavenly Father may your Kingdom come soon. Come Lord Jesus.

according to the beliefs of the jw's do the unborn babies take part in the resurection after the "great day"??

This is one of those gray areas where the WT goes beyond the scriptures to practice it's omnipotent, pervasive know-it-all influence. It was the kind of knowledge that was mouth-to-mouth, but not ever in print.

The general thinking was that if a child [fetus] had not been born, and had not taken it's first breath of air, then it had not become a person yet, a living soul so-to-speak. There is no scriptural Biblical foundation for this view.

I find that the Bible equates an unborn child as a person, as such. For example John-the-Baptist had the Holy Spirit even before being born, and many other such references.
